Training: new certificate program in analog electronics

Grenoble Institute of Technology and STMicroelectronics have partnered up to offer a new certificate program in analog electronics. The pilot session kicked off in June with nineteen participants, all STMicroelectronics employees.

The certificate program is offered by the Grenoble Institute of Technology’s continuing and executive education division and Phelma engineering school and was developed for people with engineering or graduate-level degrees in related fields to learn the fundamentals of analog electronics, either to improve the skills needed for their current positions or to change careers. According to a survey conducted by the French government, recruiters are simply not finding enough analog electronics designers to fill open positions.
